By the end of last season
most people had written off Anderson. He was struggling to perform well on a
consistent basis and then in January of this year he defied Sir Alex by flying
back home to Brazil without permission from the club, after which he suffered a
serious injury when he ruptured a cruciate ligament in his left knee, ruling
him out for the rest of the season, and then this summer he was involved in a car
crash in Portugal. Anderson’s woes seemed to never end!

The Curious Case Of The Owens

Sid's Note: I'm always ready to help any aspiring bloggers by publishing their
articles on the blog, and this article is by a new blogger Abhinav CJ who
has his own blog. Abhinav takes a look at the two Owens at United and their
future at the club.
Recently, I talked to some of my fellow Red Devils on
Twitter
regarding the futures of two of my favorite United players -
Owen
Hargreaves & Michael Owen. In this feature, we give a
glance towards
these two players whose careers at Manchester United are
hanging by a
thread at the moment. Especially since their contracts end in
the summer of
2011. Both of them are invaluable to any team when 100% fit,
but
their once-fledging careers have been constantly hampered by
career-threatening injuries.

Stick with Jonny

Jonny Evans ended last season being hailed the ‘Future of
Manchester United’, he was one of the reasons we managed to finish the season
only one point behind Chelsea. With Rio being absent for the majority of the
season, Jonny and Vidic had formed a formidable pair at the back, making the
loss of Rio not really a big problem. But then who would have thought that 4 months into
the new season that people would be asking for Jonny to be sold, and questioning his ability too!

A Silver lining to the defeat
Sid
Friday, December 3, 2010
Tuesday saw the end of our 29 game unbeaten run with a very
humbling 4-0 defeat at the hands of relegation candidates West Ham. It was a
performance to forget and except for a few brief periods in the game we never
looked like we were going to get anything from the fixture. West Ham thoroughly
deserved their win and unfortunately we weren’t able to match up with them!
