The Latest edition of Rumor Weekly is out. Several players have been linked this past week, including the usuals - De Gea, Sanchez, Pastore. while 3 United players have been linkd with moves away from old Trafford.

14^th March:

The Daily Mail: The Paper reports that Sir Alex is keen on Atletico Keeper David De Gea as a potential replacement for retiring club legend Edwin Van der Sar. The article says Sir Alex is hoping a bid of £15million will convince Atletico to part with their superstar.

sportsvibe: Manchester United supposedly are edging closer to a deal for the highly-rated Palermo forward Javier Pastore, with a fee of €40 million (£34.37 million) being cited by numerous reports in Argentina.

talkSPORT: They say that United are still some way short in their bid to land Javier Pastore but Sir Alex Ferguson is ready to fight Spanish Champions Barcelona for the Argentine playmaker this summer.

The Guardian: They claim that Luis Nani is contemplating a move to Italy and has asked his agent to check out options available. The article goes on to mention that United have lined up Ashley Young to replace Nani.

Daily Mirror: Marseille’s French goalkeeper Steve Mandanda has quashed rumors that he is on the verge of a switch to Manchester United.

18^th March

Skyports: Everton manager David Moyes insists it is a 'complete untruth' that a deal has already been agreed to sell midfielder Jack Rodwell to Manchester United. This is following widespread rumors last week that United had agreed a deal in principle for the English starlet.

Metro: Aston Villa are set to renew their interest in Manchester United striker Michael Owen following suggestions that United boss Sir Alex Ferguson has finally run out of patience with the injury-prone striker.

19^th March:

The Sun: Juventus and Genoa want to lure fed-up striker Dimitar Berbatov away from Manchester United. The Italian clubs have allegedly spoken to Berbatov's agent as the Bulgarian grows increasingly frustrated at being sat on the bench in favor of in-form Mexican hot shot Javier Hernandez.
