Gabriel Obertan: Our Mercurial French Enigma
Sid
Saturday, March 26, 2011
This season
has seen its ups and downs for the team, but the positives easily outnumber the
negatives and of these few let downs this season, my biggest disappointment has
been a certain French winger who has promised so much but failed to deliver every
time, Gabriel Obertan.

Fabio: à la Bale?
Sid
Tuesday, March 22, 2011
When Fabio
and Rafael joined the club 3 years ago, all the excitement surrounding them was
mainly focused on Fabio. He was considered the more talented of the twins and
also was the captain of the Brazil U-17 team at the time. But since their
arrival at Old Trafford, it has been Rafael who’s career has just taken off,
leaving older brother Fabio in his dust!

Will we really miss Rio?
Sid
As news that Rio might be injured for the rest
of the season reached me, my first thought was "Thank god we have Smalling!" This got me
wondering, has Smalling really made such a big impact that the loss Rio doesn’t
get me worried anymore?!

The desire to win, something Arsenal lack and we have!
Sid
Sunday, March 13, 2011
Saturday
ended on a perfect note for us, as we beat the Gunners 2-0 in the FA cup and a
very comfortable win at that! What made this win sweeter was the fact that
Gunners have now been knocked out of three competitions in the past fortnight,
going from challengers for a quadruple to challenging for only one title!

Match preview: Manchester United vs Arsenal

Saturday, March 12, 2011
Competition: F.A Cup
Date: Saturday, 12th March
2011
Venue: Old Trafford
Kick Off: 17:15 GMT or 22:45 IST
The F.A Cup
has for the past few years been hardly given any importance, but come this Saturday,
the match between Manchester United and Arsenal is probably going to be one of
the biggest games of the season. The result of this fixture could possibly
affect the title race and also reinvigorate either team! The whole world will
be watching, and this is the perfect chance for either team to show how they
respond to setbacks!

Turning point of the season?!
Sid
Friday, March 11, 2011
Last week
would probably rate among the worst weeks for the club in the recent past. Especially
since we suffered consecutive defeats at the hands of Chelsea and Liverpool! And
the result against Liverpool was made worse by the lack of fight we displayed
in the game; it was reminiscent of our display against Barcelona in the Champions
league final a few seasons ago! Disgraceful is the word that comes to mind!!

Sunday, March 6, 2011
Competition:
Barclays Premier League
Date:
Sunday, 6 March 2011
Venue: Anfield
Kick Off:
13:30 GMT
For me this is the biggest game of the season,
and no other fixture will probably be able to recreate the feeling a United fan
gets when we beat the scousers at Anfield! Having already won two games against
Liverpool this season, and hopefully we can complete a hat trick of wins
against them today.
