Around the same time last year, Anders Lindegaard was an
unknown to most United fans and even after he was signed in January we really
didn’t get to see him in action except for 2 appearances in the FA cup. On the
other hand, David De Gea has had people raving on about his talent and ability
for quite a while now. Having usurped the talented Sergio Asenjo from the no. 1
position at Atletico Madrid, he has been long touted as the man who would
replace Iker Casillas as the Spanish No. 1.

The Fall of Rio's successor!
Sid
Friday, July 29, 2011
Jonny Evans was once considered the ideal successor to Rio
Ferdinand & the next big prospect to emerge from the youth team. This was merely
a season ago! Since the start of last season, his stock has taken a steep slide

Could this be Fergie's last season?

As the new season draws closer, the fixtures are released and the transfer window clicks into overdrive adding even more excitement to the overwhelming optimisim felt amongst fans across the globe. One thought has dawned upon me amongst all this and i admit it fills me with emotions not usually associated with the return to pre-season.
The terms 'dread','scared' or 'fearful' best describe some of the feelings i get upon the question I've asked myself more and more recently. "Is the Sir Alex's last season in Charge?" The question is impossible to answer, there's no right or wrong opinion because simply put nobody even knows, maybe not even Sir Alex at this stage.

Is this the Frenchman's last chance?

Gabriel Obertan is among the 21 players who are travelling to USA for the 2011 Tour. Many, and I include myself, were expecting the French winger to be by this time either loaned out or transferred to another club. However, Sir Alex Ferguson seems to be giving Obertan one last chance.

The end of an Era at United
Sid

I never really thought I’d be so sad to see John O’Shea or
Wes Brown, maybe it was because I was so sure we’d see them play out their
entire career at United, like Scholes and Neville have, and Giggsy will. While Brown's departure was on the cards, no one ever imagined we'd see O'Shea leave.
